My mom loves cirrus clouds. The thin, wispy ones that sit way up high. I used to think that was such a small thing to get excited about. But she sees something in them. The way they’re always shifting. The way they never look the same twice. If you look away for a minute, they’ve already changed. This painting came from that feeling. It’s about staying present in the moment. Looking up. Noticing. So you don’t miss what’s right in front of you while it’s still there.
